They have taken many of the traditional Guatemalan skills and transformed them into jewelry-making skills. The workshop is spacious and filled with skylights and windows. Every artisan has their own work table. It is built around a plant and flower filled courtyard. When you give people tools and market access to lift themselves out of poverty, they don't want to leave home.
