The Antique Cassini Terrestrial is the first MOVA Globe to feature a historical map, displaying one produced in 1790 by Giovanni Maria Cassini that chronicles the three voyages of Captain James Cook. The map includes a red ecliptic line around the globe which shows the path of the sun for every day of the year. Fashioned in exquisitely modern colors and rich with authentic detail, the globe strikes an elegant balance between antique cartography, nautical flair and contemporary style.
